Swimming pool

The salt water swimming pool is large (9 x 18 metres) with a bath house that contains WC, shower and a sauna. The pool area is spacious and equipped with many deck chairs. This is the perfect surroundings for a nice, quiet morning swim, and a nice place to cool off on hot summer days. The pool is open from April to October.

Tennis

The summer of 2011 we finished our state of the art tennis court, with artificial turf and fine sand. The use of the court is free of charge. We can help you get in touch with a professional instructor if desired. No reason not to keep up with your cardio workout while on vacation!

Boule

Boule or pétanque is game where the goal is to throw hollow metal balls as close as possible to the to a small wooden ball called a cochonnet (literally "piglet") or jack. Pétanque is played by two, four or six people in two teams, or players can compete as individuals in casual play. We have buildt two courts on the property where you can enjoy a friendly game and a cup of coffee.

Trails

The area has kilometers of trails and roads that are well suited for hikers, joggers and cyclists. We have bikes for rental and from the bike you can really experience the Italian countryside and the local community. A hike or bike ride around the area is highly recommended.

Golf

7 minutes drive from Giommetta lies a brand new golf club. A par-3, 9 hole course and a practice area with driving range, pitching green and putting green is open daily. The golf course is open most of the year. See Acquapendente Golf Club's homepage for more info
